Where are the Script Editors?
There are two Script Editors:
The Form Script Editor
There is a separate script editor for each form, i.e. the Form Script Editor. You write ‘Form Script’ in this editor.
It is common to put ‘common functions’ that will be called by various Fields in the Form Script Editor. This makes it easier to find and maintain the common functions. It is also common to include scripts and functions that will be triggered by various ‘form events’, such as loading the form, saving the form, etc.
The Form Script Editor can be found on the menu at the top of the form builder.
The Field Script Editor
There is also a script editor associated with each Form Field, i.e. the Field Script Editor.
You write ‘Field Script’ in here that only applies to the particular field you are working with.
The Field Script Editor for each Field is found in the Properties dialogue for the relevant Field.
